... Search Word documents for email addresses?

• Menu: Search files ❯ Add ❯ Folder
• File types to be searched: DOCX, DOC (possibly also RTF ...)
• Now click on "Select folder" click and select the folder with the Word files
• a message indicates how many files have been added, the dialog now "Close"
• Press the start button, the search starts immediately

From the email grabber 2022 you can download other file types such as DOCX but also Apple PAGES or ODT from Open in addition to the old .DOC Word documents Search Office.

! The search in DOCX and ODT files is significantly faster than in DOC files and, if in doubt, more reliable.

! If none or not as many email addresses as expected were found open You Word and save the documents as TXT (menu: File ❯ Save As). In text files email addresses will definitely be found.
